I thought it was a good idea to share my surroundings with you. I live in Zandvoort, it is a touristic beach in Holland, 30 minutes away from Amsterdam (by train) and 15 minutes away from Haarlem. I visit Haarlem quite often. It's an important city in Holland, but quite cozy and quiet. Amsterdam is the capital of Holland even though people tend to believe Holland has 2 capitals (Den Haag and Amsterdam) it's not true. When I walk through I usually think that there are only tourist there or only foreigners living there, but that is just the atmosphere. As you walk through the streets of the centre of Amsterdam you barely hear any dutch speakers. I go to Haarlem quite often and to Amsterdam as often as I can :). The pictures are just random pics of my latest visit to these cities nothing special just randomness of my walking ;).

My First MAC pro palette

I'm obsessed with colors, and therefore my obsession with make up. My skin is not quite happy with this obsession because it is quite sensitive, so I really have to be careful with what I buy. Today was the day for my first blush from MAC, I'm going to try out if my skin likes it or not. I have tried other things from MAC like eyeshadows, MSFs, paintpots and cream color bases, so far I like it. I also bought my first pro colour palette so, I'm really looking forward to fill it up with different colors, and hopefully is not just for looking to it but to actually use the blushes in there. I'll keep you posted :).

A Sunny Winter Day & Some Nature

Today was a beautiful sunny day and was the perfect day for a walk through the forest. -I wasn't expecting to do this so, the pics are from my iphone-. I was amazed by the stillness of the reindeer (pic#2) I wasn't that close, but he looked like he was enjoying the fast approaching of the spring. The spring is coming slowly but surely, the trees are getting happy because soon enough they will have green leaves once again :). The quietness of today made me sit for a while and enjoy the nature. Sometimes I have to get out and feel basic, simple and recharge myself with energy again. Today was a good day.

N.O.T.D. Glitters, glitters and more glitters

Today I have bought my first O.P.I nail polish, I just don't know why I was neglecting them. Today I fell in love with the teenage dream of the Katy Perry collection. It's so glittery but at the same time soo beautiful, and has sparkles that shine with all the rainbow colors my favorites! ;) for today it satisfies my color obsession. And besides the formula dries really quick and the brush picks up the perfect amount of nail polish and the size of it is perfect for the size of my nails. Love at first sight :)Maybe I should put a coat of my glittery stars.

Winter day, Nails of the day

Today was a really cold and super dark day. The only thing I wanted to do is to stay in the couch with loads of soft & warm blankets drinking my yogi tea all day long. But I wanted something that lift me up a little bit. So I did my nails :). And because I didn't had any color that reminds me of spring, I did it myself :) I mixed almost an entire bottle of a white color with a pearly pink shine to it, and a couple drops of fushia nail varnish. The color is just perfect and above that makes me happy wearing it. Mission accomplished.

Winter Boots/ My leather Ugg boots

I have never heard anyone saying that they think that the Ugg boots are pretty. And yet everyone that can afford them have/had at least a pair. I always resisted the idea of buying a pair for myself. This winter however, was really cold! and my lovely husband bought, as a gift, my first pair. I must admit: I love them! they are sooo warm! I'm always cold, even in a warm weather. The outside of mines are leather, therefore, they keep me from wet feet ;o). Here in Holland they are pricey but the Uggs definitely worth every penny. They are indeed warm and comfy. I think that once you "surrender" and have a pair, you will never want to wear anything else in the winter. However I think that I will only but the leather ones, in my opinion they are not that ugly. But, as you see them everywhere they start to appeal you.. So, you'll never know. ;)
